The way I read that highlighted bit is that if you are to replace a sensor OR rotate the tyres, it needs to see an MG dealer to go through the self-learning process. Which to be fair would be the opposite of “self” learning.

It would surprise me though if MG really went for individual sensors but then not have them report which corner they are on automatically. Surely if you’re trying to save cost you could just satisfy any TPMS regulation with the variant that monitors rotational speed of the tyres through the ABS module. The one that just lets you know one of your tyres is lower than the others, without specifically saying which one.
