I believe early on the Chinese had a cheaper version without MG Pilot and all those safety systems .
What happened in Singapore ( local regulation ??? ) to have their versions strangled by a third, must have been done electronically , MG/SAIC would not have made a new motor just for that market.
 
In the Netherlands the ranges were/are
Standard ->Comfort->Luxury->Trophy Extended Range->XPOWER

Make sure you include the region and language if it "auto" corrects it at page load.

That means the Netherlands did not follow Europe's naming convention for the model with the 77kWh battery
