Just done a test, left the car in the airport car park for 10 days whilst on holiday. No problems at all with 12V battery, everything was fine.

Thanks for posting - I've also left mine for over 2 weeks (in winter) at the airport (fortunately away from those pesky petrol & derv. cars, which seem to spontaneously combust ), no issues.
