An all electric version made its debut as EZS at the 2018 Guangzhou Auto Show, featuring a 44.5 kWh battery, and a front positioned motor producing 143 PS (141 hp; 105 kW) or 150 PS (148 hp; 110 kW) and 350 N⋅m (35.7 kg⋅m; 258 lb⋅ft) to the front wheels. It is available in the United Kingdom, parts of Europe, Thailand, China, and India.
It was revealed in Australia in November 2020 as the cheapest electric car in the market of all time. MG Australia predicted a sales target of 3,000 unit for the 2021 model year.
Except for China, the electric SUV is officially named as ZS EV, while the official name in China is EZS.
Has anyone used something like this to make their android auto connection wireless? Did it work? (I don't like having to plug in every time and having a cable there gets in the way).
Is there anyone who has had the CCS firmware update (ZF EV) done to allow Tesla charger use, in the North West of England or North Wales?
I would be grateful for the name of a dealership and even better a contact name.
Hello,
I noticed a loose strap with a metal clip in the engine bay (direct near the battery tray). Does somebody has any idea for what it is used? With the given length, it would only fit under the negative pole of the battery. However, it is not connected like this (from the factory).
Bye.
Posting because I’m so stressed out ? a few weeks ago I plugged my charger in same as always but it wouldn’t lock in place and therefore wouldn’t take a charge. I tried a different charger but no luck. Took it to a local dealer paid £250 for a diagnostic to be told the lock actuator needs...
So yesterday my MG5 got carted off to the dealership on the back of an AA van for what appears to be a fault with the charging of the 12V battery.
My 21 plate ZS has the 12V battery gauge on dash and that's currently showing just over half full - what are people's experiences with this gauge...
MG ZS EV Luxury long Range charging problems.
The socket of my MG ZS-EV has an error that prevents charging. Charging did not work at the dealer either. Dealer says the socket is the problem. Because the socket is not in stock, my car has been at the dealer for 3 weeks now. Am I the only one...
I live in a rural location and have found that the reversing lamps are deficient on the 2023 MG ZS EV. I literally cannot see anything at all out the back - and I don't have this problem with other vehicles in the household.
Apologies if discussed previously but would be interested to know if...
It's happened a couple of times now, but while driving there is a sudden very loud internal 'alarm' sound that goes off for no apparent reason. Makes my wife jump out of her skin. Not the usual alert chimes, a proper loud alarm type sound. It stops after a short time, but seems to leave no...
Got the MG ZS EV on a lift and the chassis rust after just three years is a bit concerning. Just appears to be surface rust starting to take hold so far but I've posted some pics and a video to show you all. The suspension parts appear the worst affected but some rust on the chassis is...
I have a mk1 MG ZS EV, bought in July. All through the last 5 months the regen, whilst in 3, slows the car and I see the needle go into the charging section of the dial.
Now, I know when the battery is full, a message pops up saying regen won't work and to use the brakes, which makes total...
Am planning a longish journey south from Scotland. I notice at Abington sevices they have 150kW and 100kW chargers. Can these be used with my MG zs ?. Not sure if 50kW is maximum permitted.

Graham
My puppy’s portable crate netting has got stuck in the boot lock when closing it and I can’t open it now (puppy wasn’t inside it!) is there an inside emergency release catch on the 2020 MG ZS EV boot lock?
I had done my 1st year of service of my MG ZS EV Trophy Connect ( only 3.5K miles done). I drove all the way to Bristol ( 40 miles) because I bought the car from there and 1st year service is free.
After the service while driving back home, I noticed the Forward Collision icon on the dashboard...
