Hi all
I've come up with a tidy way of keeping your key in a safe place within the centre console.
A simple 3D printed TPU tray that stops the key from rolling around, and a second area for other small things.
I also printed a small dedicated coin tray that fits in the second area.
If anyone is...
A couple of times now I have been using CarPlay with my iPhone to listen to a podcast on Pocketcasts - That works well although I haven't worked out how to play one episode and tee up another to play next.
What happened was after the podcast finished playing I disconnected the phone and the...
Might I suggest if you have your dog(s) in the back of your MG4 not to use Sport Mode.
I decided to engage it when coming back from taking my two greyhounds for their morning walk as I entered a 50mph limit from a 30. I floored the accelerator and the car shot forward. Unfortunately the dogs...
I looked for a SatNav map update and found an MG website
https://www.mgmotor.eu/owners/user-manuals
If you enter your VIN it takes you to what appears to be an area for manuals and a map update specifically for your car, BUT here the confusion starts. It is an MG website based in Europe, not...
Does anyone else find that the rear seat buckles push down into the seat such that you can't easily get the seat belt into it. The kids find it a real pain trying to get the drivers side one in. Feels like the bracket its in is too flexible.
Just taken delivery of a MG4 Trophy. Delighted with the way it drives and getting used to being an EV owner. However I'm struggling to get the auto climate control set properly. I noticed the MG iSMART app reports internal and external temperatures which I assume are used by the climate control...
It looks like MG has solved the problem with LKA.
This German fellow from YouTube chanel 'ELEKTROBAYS' shows how the MG4 reacts after the update.
The update is released on the 1ste of April.
My German is not that good so I used video translation.
But this looks very promissing
Hi all,
I have an MG 4 Trophy LR and have a question regarding using the phone when connected via Bluetooth. Is there a way to search through your contacts on the infotainment screen without having to physically do it on the infotainment screen which I think is very distracting whilst driving...
Hi All,
Anyone experienced an issue with the black plastic trim at the top of the boot/spoiler warping to the point you can't open the door? I've been having an issue with high pitched whistle and random clunking from the back for a few months and its due to go in for a checkup (June!!) but...
Been running 6kw of solar with a DC coupled battery plus a Zappi, Eddi and hub for about 18 months, on Octopus Got and an e208 so happy with the work around to stop the DC coupled battery (which is not visible to the Zappi as you can't use a CT clamp for DC output) being drained most of the...
I have been looking at ways of charging my EV when the sun shines on my solar panels, I checked out Zappi etc and was quite supprised at the price of £800+
So I installed an adjustable current monitering device that switches on a contactor when the solar panels reach 2.2kw output (4kw fitted)...
With the speed limiter function when set on the steering wheel for the MG4 Trophy, I've noticed I'm only able to change the speed limit in increments of 5mph, so 25, 30, 35... is there a way to set it at, say, 32mph?
Many thanks,
Joe
Hello All,
Excuse me if this has already been posted elsewhere, but I took ownership of my MG4 Trophy at the end of March and I was only given a home charger which is no good as I live in a flat with no charging facilities.
So far, charging has been easier than I though but, aside from...
I have activated my ‘vehicle start notification’ in the alarm setting of my iSMART app. I now cannot disengage this setting and am getting a notification every time I ‘start’ a journey in my car. How can I disengage this please?
