Hi. First post here! I'm thinking of purchasing an MG5 and unsure as to which wall charger I should opt for. Is there a general consensus on what brands to go for / avoid? And does it make any difference who my energy supplier is as to what box I get?
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
I’ve found a online UK number plate supplier who will supply this size plate which enables you to remove the black plastic bar under the rear number plate and replace it with this size. I think it looks tidy!

Hi
I am considering buying an MG5 - all the literature and websites I can find show the boot size as 464 litres, which doesn't tell me how big it is - I've a dog cage that we'd like to use but can't work out if it will fit.
Can anybody be kind enough to let me know the boot interior...
I am doing my first home charge using a wallbox charge unit. I have not loaded the app before starting charge the charge seems to be going ok.
Does the charge cable get locked during charge if so how do i stop charge? How long will it run until it stops itself.
Anyone any ideas?
Kind Regards...
just found this on the MG website under the warranty terms and conditions nice to know

This is an interesting and I think quite fair review. Right at the end the comments about the 7 Year warranty are interesting and could be misleading for perpective buyers don’t you think?
I have raised the boot cover/carpet on my MG5 by 10cm using 2*5cm thick closed call foam blocks, 2m * 1.2m in size
This is the closed call foam I bought.
I cut it to 100cm wide and 85cm deep ( front to back) and cut out the center to make a storage area and cut off two diagonal pieces at the...
As the 5 is "out of the box", it starts up in Normal Mode and KERS 2. I'd like the ability to set different power on defaults and have my car start up in Eco mode and KERS 3 (if it'll wear it, though I think KERS 2 might have to do as that covers all states of charge).
Hi folks,
A question for those of you with Zappis.
We just had our Zappi2 fitted and I have been trying to set up the boost charge timer to take advantage of our Octopus Go cheap 4 hour tarriff.
I programmed in a test run for a 30min boost and was delighted to see that the charge started as...
I am getting my mg5 soon and I hopefully be keeping this car for sometime so I was wondering has anyone considered underbody rustproofing I was thinking of using fluid film any thoughts?
The service plans on offer to pay monthly direct debits actually costs more than paying them individually.
My nearest two dealership quotes are:
£789 - 6 years service plan (£722 individually)
£895 - 6 years service plan (£826 individually)
over £100 difference between dealerships and £67-£69...
I'm hopefully heading to the continent for a wedding in the summer. My old car could switch the headlights over from the dash.
I found the following online:
I was wondering, does the MG5 have such a lever in the headlight housing?
