An all electric version made its debut as EZS at the 2018 Guangzhou Auto Show, featuring a 44.5 kWh battery, and a front positioned motor producing 143 PS (141 hp; 105 kW) or 150 PS (148 hp; 110 kW) and 350 N⋅m (35.7 kg⋅m; 258 lb⋅ft) to the front wheels. It is available in the United Kingdom, parts of Europe, Thailand, China, and India.
It was revealed in Australia in November 2020 as the cheapest electric car in the market of all time. MG Australia predicted a sales target of 3,000 unit for the 2021 model year.
Except for China, the electric SUV is officially named as ZS EV, while the official name in China is EZS.

The major one was its first roadside charge this morning using a BP Pulse charger, in 45 minutes its charged 7%, a long way from the expected 80% in an hour...
The manual states on page 180:
If an equalisation charge has not been carried out for some time, the message centre in the instrument pack will display 'Please Slow-charge the Vehicle'.
My question to you all is:
Is it important to carry out equalisation charges once a month or wait until the...

I rushed home from coffee with friends this morning, left the car running as the friend with whom I was going to Milton Keynes had already pulled up on my driveway. I told her to hop in, whilst I quickly went indoors, dropped off the small handbag (with the key inside) that I had used in the...
Beware the need to register in the shop if you expect to stay more than 30 minutes. EURO CAR PARKS will fine you £100 if you stay longer and my charge took 38 minutes, plus 20 minutes setting up on 3 different chargers.
