The MG4 EV is a battery electric small family car (C-segment) produced by the Chinese automotive manufacturer SAIC Motor under the British MG marque. First released in June 2022 as the MG Mulan in China, it is the first vehicle to be based on SAIC's battery electric Modular Scalable Platform (marketed as the Nebula platform in China). It was introduced in Europe as the MG4 EV in July 2022. It is also assembled and marketed in Thailand as the MG4 Electric since November 2022.
I have a missing segment on my left hand main beam right over on the side. Also possibly have the same problem on the right. Logged with dealer to have a look, but in the meantime I was wondering if anyone else had had this issue?
Hi all!
I've spent the last few months researching what EV to get and this forum has been really useful! I have one question that I hope people can help me with.
I've ordered my car through Octopus EV's salary sacrifice scheme. Originally it looked like they'd ordered me a newer MY23 model...
Hi All,
I have a MG4 LR (Blue) as a interim company car, having had several EVs including a couple of Leafs, Twizy and a Tesla Model S.
My home charger is a Pod Point that was installed in 2016 and is the 7kW model. It has performed flawlessly on every car EXCEPT the MG4. It may be finger...
I have enabled sign recognition in my MG4, but when I turn off my car and come back I usually have to manually hit the sign recognition again to enable it, because the car doesn't remember it. Is this some kinda software bug?
I noticed when unlocking the car the auto fold mirrors on my 2023 MG4 (updated version) had squeaky side mirrors. Following the advice on the MG5 thread Creaking door mirrors MG5 LR exclusive I gave them a spray with some PTFE lubricant and it seems to have fixed the problem. I made a video...
Having been driving the ZS EV for a few months I was curious as to how I would feel when the MG4 finally arrived.
It came on Friday and was put to use for a 450 mile round trip over the weekend and I have to say on the whole I'm very pleased with it and here are some of my first impressions...
Anyone experience with removing theseat backs of the MG4 to get temporarliy more space for transport of goods? Specially in the middle it is fixed and I dont know how to detach that.
When I get in my car the voice thing says a date always 1 January 2019. Dealership have put this right a couple of times, only for it to revert to 1 January 2019 after a couple of days, does anyone else have this annoying issue and how to put it right?
Trying to decipher my MG4 Trophy VIN Number to find out what is the exact build date but Google is not helping much.
Any ideas guys?
My number is: LSJWH4090PN106524
Hi All,
I'm considering changing my Mk2 ZS EV Trophy for an MG4 Trophy Extended range, just wondering if anyone here has done this already (probably not to the extended as its new, though) and do you regret changing over to the MG4? Thanks.,
Really boring thread, but I’m really surprised at how crappy the parcel shelf fixtures are. Mine has a Velcro clip but that’s just useless. Constantly not closing right if I’ve had more in my boot. Just a bit like why so crap?
Last night I was driving along the Cornish lanes when I came upon a ford of quick moving water indicating just over a foot deep ?
I didn't fancy trying to turn so slowly waded through ??
After I got a couple of warning to hold the wheel (which I was) but no other after affects...
My Range Rover...
Has anybody got an MG4 using Zenith? What are your experiences with them? I know people who picked different cars and they were not happy for a variety of reasons.
My MG4 is not due to arrive until late September, I ordered on 4th June. So far so good with Zenith. They have answered all my...
I have now seen a number of reviews refer to the MG4 as compact/mini SUV. What would you class it.
It’s weird, from the rear, up against my Ford Fiesta which is unmistakably a hatchback, I can see why one would call it a compact/mini SUV. Yet from the sides and front I can see why one would call...
Hi all, I have an Orange LR Trophy which has a mind of its own with the time. Most mornings the clock is an hour ahead, or some random time. Yesterday, real time 08.32, clock showing 12.17!
Any help appreciated, thanks Lizzie
