mg4

The MG4 EV is a battery electric small family car (C-segment) produced by the Chinese automotive manufacturer SAIC Motor under the British MG marque. First released in June 2022 as the MG Mulan in China, it is the first vehicle to be based on SAIC's battery electric Modular Scalable Platform (marketed as the Nebula platform in China). It was introduced in Europe as the MG4 EV in July 2022.

    Hi, just had my first warning, low tyre pressure. no problem I thought, I have a 12v compressor in the boot from my last car. Nowhere to plug it in?? no accessory socket in the MG4, as far as I can see. Is there a fix for this missing socket? sorted thanks.

    MG4 Charging efficiency

    I'm using the 'Granny charger' that came with the car (MG4 Trophy) and plugged it into a cheap 'Energy Monitor' to get some idea of how much 'leccy I'm using. Just charged from 48% to 80% which should be nearly 20kwh, the meter said 25.1kwh which is about 80% efficient. Anyone else got numbers...

    Just noticed tonight that the iSmart app has been upgraded. Weirdly I now get an overheating error which also shows even when the car isn't charging. Nice fix MG !! I also noticed the service portfolio in manuals. I'm sure that wasn't there before, it actually has a stamp section in there...
