The Roewe Ei5 is the electric station wagon version of the Roewe i5. Debuting during the 2017 Guangzhou Auto Show, the Chinese version is powered by a single electric motor producing 116 hp. It claims a range of 300 kilometers and a 145 km/h top speed.

The Ei5 was launched in the UK rebranded as the MG 5 EV in September 2020, with a more powerful, 154-hp electric motor and a 115 mph (185 km/h) top speed. With a 52.2-kWh battery, the vehicle has a range of 214 miles (344 km) in the WLTP cycle.

The Roewe Ei5 was launched in Thailand rebranded as the MG EP on 26 November 2020 with a more powerful, 163-hp electric motor and 260 nm. of Torque.

    Starting an Excite

    I am coming down on the side of an Excite, purely for financial reasons. I take it you just put the key in the ignition, same as my old Jazz, and start it like a conventional car? Manual only gives info for Keyless starting.

    Back seats feet space?

    I visited my local dealer yesterday for a butchers of the 5 and noticed in the back there is not much room for those with a larger shoe size, as there was no gap between the floor and the bottom of the front seats, is this normal or could the front seats been adjusted to the lowest position?

    Has anyone used A Better Route Planner (ABRP) on the MG5 yet? I just checked the journey I have just completed using starting SoC for both legs. In both cases the ending SoC was 100% accurate.     Motorway speeds feel wobbly and floaty

    So my first time on a long distance motorway drive. Compared to my Hyundai i40 with 17" wheels it felt too floaty, like if I had to swerve to avoid something I would loose control qnd it would wobble out of control.
