Modules that fail, reprogramme individually as replacements - different tab to the one touch update.

To get it to work there may be battery disconnects needed and as for the park thing. Mine had similar but updating more modules and doing that final procedure it warns you about (parking on level ground and doing the things it tells you like holding the brakes sorted it). Also, be prepared to have to try multiple times to get stubborn modules to take the programming FVCM took 9 goes - it was painful.

Thx for your quick reply. But I dont think I can do this. Every time now I get an error before it gets to this module. I think my problem right now is that is necessary to put the car in P mode. But I can't do that. It switches a few sec later to N. I turned the battery off but it won't help

Did you ever work this out? Just done all the updates to my MG5 FL except these.

Hi there, I've just bought a FL MG5 with a fault and I also have a ZS EV trophy here at home.

I have some diagnostic experience and plenty of mechanical / IT experience.

What's the cheapest and easiest way for me to get CDs / sips etc up and running?

Also, can it program keys

Has anyone had experience physically replacing the FICM? Whilst my vehicle is a ZS facelift I’m hoping someone can confirm if replacing the head unit requires configuring vis SIPS to update the VIN etc or if this is learnt by the head unit from the vehicle. I appreciate any experiences with MG4s don’t mean it will be the same but hoping for some indication.

Only TBOX MPU. For TBOX MCU, you need SIPS
