MG ZS EV subcompact crossover electric SUV
The MG ZS EV is a subcompact crossover electric SUV produced by the Chinese manufacturer SAIC Motor under the MG marque.

An all electric version made its debut as EZS at the 2018 Guangzhou Auto Show, featuring a 44.5 kWh battery, and a front positioned motor producing 143 PS (141 hp; 105 kW) or 150 PS (148 hp; 110 kW) and 350 N⋅m (35.7 kg⋅m; 258 lb⋅ft) to the front wheels. It is available in the United Kingdom, parts of Europe, Thailand, China, and India.

It was revealed in Australia in November 2020 as the cheapest electric car in the market of all time. MG Australia predicted a sales target of 3,000 unit for the 2021 model year.

Except for China, the electric SUV is officially named as ZS EV, while the official name in China is EZS.

    MGZS V2L sudden stop

    My 2023 zs ev suddenly stopped discharging mid use. Watt meter showed 1.9 kW total surge than stop, within the 2.2kW tolerance. Could it be the V2L adapter plug or would it be the ZS?

    Bonnet gas struts fitted.

    Bought a set of gas struts & brackets off eBay, arrived & fitted today. Makes lifting the bonnet simple & easy. A bit of a coat to fit but worth the hassle.     Wont charge at home

    My 21 plate mgev would not charge at home with the 3 pin plug I have had a home charger fitted and it still won't charge it says car connected but not charging it will start to charge then stops after a about a minute any ideas on this matter it will charge OK on local chargers

    2022 ZS EV standard trophy BASE OF STEERING COLUMN EXPOSED

    Is the base of the steering column normally exposed on this model? See attached. I imagine debris from your feet can get into that space, am I missing some covering? Thanks.
