    MG4 Roadtrip Scotland

I'm thinking of taking my MG4 up to Scotland as I've had it over a year and only done 7.5K. I notice we seem to have a lot of Scottish members so was after some advice on where to go for nice driving and great scenery and also where to stay. I was thinking the NC500 but everyone seems to do that...

    Reskin

I’m soon to get my first MG4 SE LR. I’ve heard it’s a good idea to have it ceramic coated. What I’m wanting to know is can I have that done but at the same time also change the colour of the car? And if so is it possible to have something like that done without it costing me a fortune? I’d like...

Getting MG4 Trophy LR this week

Hello All, Having just had a 7Kw Solar Panel roof install in Jan 24, I also had the opportunity to install the Zappi EV charger as part of the Solar panel/Batteries setup, the installer did it for free. So I started to look at a few EV's from the main car companies and liked a few models but...

Wireless CarPlay supporting switching between two phones?

Hi, I am thinking of getting a wireless CarPlay device to avoid having to plug my phone in. We often want to switch over between phones while driving, e,g. to listen to different music. Is there a device on the market that lets you switch phones seamlessly whenever you want to?

Will it work (sufficient range for my situation)

I have received an offer for the XPower as a company vehicle. My typical daily usage would be as follows: Charge the vehicle at work to 100%. Commute to home (75 miles). Drive around town (10-20 miles). Commute to work (75 miles). Charge the vehicle at work to 100%. I work a rotating...

    Outside temperature reading, gone doolally.

Ive done a search and come up short so....I've left this nearly a week hoping that the car might get a grip of itself. It hasn't. I noticed last week that my outside temperature reading was 29 degrees. Every time I've used it since, it's been over 30. Today when I went out to strip and clean...

    Door locking

I’m not sure if the car has always done this or if it is a “new feature”. If I get in the car and drive off all the doors lock. If I stop and open the drivers door the rear doors remain locked from the outside. I seem to remember that they used to unlock with the drivers door but i could be...

    Charging 10%-100% every 3-6 months

Apologies in advance because I know this has been discussed before. I'm currently running my SOC to around 10% so I can do the 10% - 100% charge and balance the battery, however I have an off peak tariff (5 hours) and don't think my car will get to 100% in that window. The manual states this...

Tyre pressure: how high can you go?

How high can you inflate the tyres above the recommended 2.6 bar without triggering an alarm? Or can you set a higher pressure, say 2.8 bar, and zero it out so the car now treats that as its nominal value?

    Driving to Cornwall

I’m driving to Cornwall on Friday, from Maidenhead, in Berkshire in my Trophy LR, which I’ll charge up to 100% before leaving home. So, about 4 hours, via either the M4/M5, or M3/A303 to Exeter, then A38 to Plymouth, and on to Looe. Does anyone have any hints/tips to share about charging points...

    Cheap improvement? You decide.

Today I took the wheel trims off my Wifes Trophy LR & cleaned her wheels & tyres. I had ordered some centre caps off Ali express, they arrived via pigeon (3 weeks) & to my surprise they're identical to my x power wheel caps. Anyway point is - Does her car look better? OR should we leave the...

Replace Pod Point Solo charger with Ohme

I currently have a pod point charger that I would like to replace with an Ohme, has anyone done this? Nothing wrong with the podoint, however I've been given an ohme from a family member that no longer needs it. I take it would be a fairly straight forward swap over? Thanks
